As part of the socially engaged arts commission with Historic England and Photoworks, I ran community events and workshops in Fleetwood that became part of the final exhibition.  These included heritage photo walks, sharing groups and photographic workshops in the local community.
I held several workshops with elderly residents at Fleetwood Hall Residential Home, Guys Court Nursing Home and Milton Lodge Care Home where we created photo collages made with the historic 'Fleetwood, Today and Yesterday' magazine which evoked lots of fond memories and colourful stories of times gone by.  Within these workshops we also had the opportunity to create cyanotypes, a traditional photographic contact print.  The work created in the workshops with residents were redesigned into postcards and bookmarks for the final exhibition and exhibited at Fleetwood Library alongside the photographs taken in during the photography walks.
